How much does an electrical panel upgrade cost?
Anywhere from about $1,500 for a like-for-like panel swap to $8,000+ for a full 100A→200A service upgrade with a new service entrance and ComEd coordination — most jobs land between $2,500 and $4,500. The range is wide because "panel upgrade" covers two very different jobs (see our full cost guide). You get an exact upfront price before any work starts.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — MCL Electric LLC is a licensed and insured electrical contractor, and we handle permits and inspections on every job that requires them.
Do you install EV chargers?
Yes — Level 2 chargers for homes and businesses (Tesla, ChargePoint, Emporia and more), including the load calculation, dedicated circuit, permit, and a panel upgrade if your service needs one.
